DOMINIONISM  is the fastest growing global movement today within the churches.  First of all, what is it?  A look at the Wikipedia site gives you a brief outline of what it is.

Seven Mountain Mandate

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Seven Mountain Mandate, also Seven Mountains Mandate7M,[1] or Seven Mountains Dominionism,[2] is a dominionist conservative Christian movement within Pentecostal and evangelical Christianity.[1][3] It holds that there are seven aspects of society that believers seek to influence: family, religion, education, media, entertainment, business, and government.

History

The movement is believed by its followers to have begun in 1975 with a purported message from God delivered to evangelicals Loren CunninghamBill Bright, and Francis Schaeffer ordering them to invade the “seven spheres” of society identified as family, religion, education, media, entertainment, business, and government. The idea was not seriously considered until 2000 during a meeting between Cunningham and Lance Wallnau. The movement came to prominence after the 2013 publication of Wallnau’s and Bill Johnson‘s Invading Babylon: The 7 Mountain Mandate.[4]

The movement was generally supportive of the presidency of Donald Trump, with member Paula White becoming Trump’s spiritual advisor. White claimed that Trump “will play a critical role in Armageddon as the United States stands alongside Israel in the battle against Islam.” In 2020 Charlie Kirk said “finally we have a president that understands the seven mountains of cultural influence” during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.[4]

Theory

The Seven Mountain Mandate is part of dominionism.[5]

The biblical base for the movement is derived from Revelation 17:118, wherein verse 9 reads, “And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains”.[5] The seven areas that the movement believe influence society and that they seek to influence are family, religion, education, media, entertainment, business, and government.[5] They believe that their mission to influence the world through these seven spheres is justified by Isaiah 2:2 “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains.”[4]

Followers believe that by fulfilling the Seven Mountain Mandate they can bring about the end times.[4]

The information above begs the question … Is this movement of God?

The answer is NO

1) The Bible doesn’t support this endtime movement.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:Amos 8:11

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thessalonians 2: 1-3

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Luke 18: 7,8

2)  It has been concocted by false preachers and prophets

“The movement came to prominence after the 2013 publication of Wallnau’s and Bill Johnson‘s Invading Babylon: The 7 Mountain Mandate.

Bill Johnson from Redding, California is one of the leading false prophets to date 2024.  The Seven Mandate is promoted by all the false prophets starting with NAR with Peter Wagnar. (NAR means New Apostalic Reformation that is totally man’s idea, not God’s. See chart below.)

3)  The Bible tells us to free ourselves from the world, not embrace it.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 2 Corinthians 6: 17.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3: 2

4) They have a false teaching that Jesus cannot come back until they Christianize the world.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereatBecause strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves Matthew 7: 13-16

5) Their interpretation of Revelation is false about the battle of Armigeddon.

The Battle of Armageddon does not describe some literal, earthly conflict between Russia, Egypt, Europe, and China that might occur in the twentieth century. That would have had absolutely no meaning to the saints in the first century who were suffering at the hands of pagan Rome. This concept of the Battle of Armageddon is part and parcel of premillennialism, a system of interpretation of Bible prophecy which is a system of infidelity.

Rather, the Battle of Armageddon was a symbolical method of revealing God’s ultimate victory over Satan. Hence, though Satan may rage and the earthly scene appears as though Satan was in control and God was completely defeated, the Christian knows that the ultimate victory belongs to God. In the conflict, the victor has already been decided. God will defeat Satan and completely destroy him in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. That being the case, we who are Christians should never take sides with the Loser, Satan; we should always stand with the great Winner, Jesus Christ our Lord, the victor at the Battle of Armageddon. Read more …   https://www.lavistachurchofchrist.org/cms/the-battle-of-armageddon-2/
