Chabad is a religious cult that promotes religious violence. Chabad followers can become extremely violent with anybody who opposes them, or anybody who says that their beliefs are wrong, just like radical Muslims or fanatical Christians. Chabad considers Orthodox Jews to be their biggest enemy, because any Orthodox Jew can understand that Chabad is NOT Jewish.

But a picture is worth more than a thousand words.

chabad religious violence cult

This is Chana Gourary, eldest daughter of the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe Yosef Yitzchok Schneerson and sister-in-law of the 7th Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson, after being beaten by a hasid (follower) of the 7th Rebbe, the so called “Moshiach”. Mrs. Gourary was then in her mid-80s.

The beating of Chana Gourary by a Lubavitcher hasid (follower) is a very good example of Chabad religious violence. Chana, the daughter of the 6th Rebbe of Lubavitch and the sister-in-law of the 7th and last Chabad Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson, then in her mid-eighties, was beaten on Shabbat by a student of the central Chabad-Lubavitch yeshiva. Mrs. Gourary’s husband, Rabbi Shmaryahu Gourary, had been the operations head of the yeshiva since its days in Poland before World War II.

Why was Mrs. Gourary beaten?

Because, as one of the two surviving children of the 6th rebbe and as the mother of his only grandchild, Mrs. Gourary wanted her family’s share of the 6th rebbe’s estate. The 7th rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, opposed this. When it became clear that Mrs. Gourary and her son Barry were taking items (books) from the estate, the Rebbe became infuriated and spoke out against the “thieves.” An enraged follower then went to Mrs. Gourary’s apartment and assaulted her.

The Rebbe refused to go to a neutral Beit Din (Rabbinical Court) to resolve the dispute and, instead, in violation of normative Halacha (Jewish Law), brought the case to secular court which eventually found that the estate belonged to “all hasidim” and was not the personal property of the 6th rebbe or his descendants, a decision that would not have been reached in an impartial Beit Din. To this day, Chabad keeps much of the meat of the estate under lock and key, unavailable for viewing by researchers and hasidim alike, hardly the public use the secular court envisioned.

After the attacker left her apartment, a badly injured Chana Gourary phoned her sister Chaya Mussia, the Rebbe’s wife, for help. It was Shabbat. Phones are not used or answered. Yet Chana called and Chaya Mussia answered the phone. This was before caller ID or special ringtones. Chaya Mussia got help.

Word of the attack spread through Crown Heights. Chabad “authorities” quickly put the attacker in seclusion and, on Shabbat, arranged for a flight to Israel on the first available plane. By the time the police arrived looking for him, the attacker was already out of US airspace. He married and lives a normal life in Israel as part of the Chabad-Lubavitch community there. He has not been shamed or ostracized in any way.

The Chabad Rebbe, Menachem Mendl Schneerson, was the dictator in the Chabad totalitarian regime. Anybody who opposed him became his enemy. And today, anybody who opposes Chabad, becomes their enemy. And Chabad teaches that enemies of Chabad must be destroyed.

In the 1970’s an elder member of the Chabad-Lubavitch Va’ad HaRabbonim refused a direct request from the Rebbe to excommunicate an Israeli politician who had disregarded the Rebbe’s wishes. Rabbi Rivkin pointed out that there were no halakhic grounds for the excommunication and respectfully refused to do the Rebbe’s bidding. Similar to what would happen in the Gourary case, the Rebbe publicly and viciously spoke out against the one who would not sign. The Rebbe also posted the excommunication order signed by the other members of the Va’ad HaRabbonim so it would be clear to all who that “one” was.

Rabbi Rivkin was spit on in the streets, called a Nazi, had his home covered with graffiti, his windows broken. He received late-night harassing phone calls. He was threatened. An elderly man, Rabbi Rivkin, could not handle the strain. He had a stroke, fell down his stairs and died.

The Rebbe denied his hasidim had any role in the harassment of Rabbi Rivkin, an odd contention because, a) The Rebbe himself publicly and in direct violation of Jewish Law harassed Rabbi Rivkin, and b) much of the graffiti was in Yiddish. No one who learns Chabad hasiddus could do such a thing, the Rebbe told reporters.

Only a few years later, another hasid (follower) of the Rebbe, a man who studied in his yeshiva and learned much Chabad hasidut, beat a defenseless elderly woman to the point of death. As before, the Rebbe was unmoved and unrepentant.

A few comments about this article found at the source:

Please see the book “Hasidim – A Place in the New World” Harvard University Press (November, 1992) ISBN: 0674381157. In this respected book the author, Jerome Mintz, documents exactly this story of how the sister of Chaya Muska was attacked. The part regarding how Chabad Lubavitch went directly to secular court without first getting a heter from bais din is also documented. The conflict arose due to this woman’s son claiming stake to ancient Chabad books and writings from the 6th Rebbe. The story is real. Get the book.

Some of us appreciate the fact that Chabad is finally being exposed for the Avodah Zarah (idolatry) it is. All you Chabadskers out there, forget about your fake sources that “singing and dancing will bring the Moshiach” or that “We must demand that the Moshiach arrive.” The REAL sources say that establishing false messiahs is what keeps the Geula away. When all is said and done, the real Moshiach will reveal that Chabad was one of the greatest elements in the delay of the Moshiach, Midda Keneged Midda. And won’t that hurt.

Just a reality check to let you know that unless Crown Heights deals with the infestation of evil, lawlessness, scofflaw behavior, lashon ha ra, you can wait two thousand more years for Moshiach. I lived there for five years so I know this first hand. I have a letter on my wall from the Rebbe. I do not have the time to write all the abuses and criminal actions I suffered at the hands of Chabad. It is sad that my own brother in law ripped me off for over $100,000 and after trying to get the Vaad haRabonim (read ra banim) of Queens to open a case in Beis Din they ripped my check up and told me they could not handle the case. My brother in law gives a lot of donations. The Rebbe was purposely not taken care of because Chabad followers did not want a paralyzed Rebbe, he was left to die and I have inside information about this. The Rebbe always said you dress like Chassidim, look like Chassidim, but you are NOT Chassidim. He blamed evil speech for the Rebbitzen’s death so wake up before it is too late.

chabad engages in gang violence

Many years ago when I was a student in Tomchei in Kfar Chabad in Israel, I saw behavior that was so shocking that it made me question the sanity of certain Lubavitchers who acted like young Turks. This story is verifiable. I had a very good friend from LA, Avraham Leader, the son of an Orthodox Rav, who went to Kfar Chabad to study. Avraham was one of the top students at Rav Simcha Waserman’s yeshiva. Avraham was a charismatic sort of person, and many of the Ba’ale Teshuva along with myself used to study Bratzlav Chassidut with him. We were good friends from LA, and we loved hanging out as teenagers often do. Several of the students strongly disliked that young Avraham was acting like a “rebbe” who preferred “Polisher Chassidus” over Chabad. On Shabbat afternoon after lunch, a group of 20 students attacked Avraham, stabbed him in the head. Nothing was ever done. Avraham immediately left the yeshiva to study in a more sane environment. I regret that I did not do the same.

I have many other anecdotes, but I think part of the problem is the cult mentality that has long been a part of the movement’s history. Chabad Chassidim have an elitist attitude and they would be much better off with studying good old fashioned Musar rather than the obtuse metaphysics of Chabad Haskalah which causes these young students to experience a profound spiritual disconnect with reality. I have long left the movement, decades before the Rebbe went insane with his Messianic megalomania. In my opinion, Chabad functions exactly like the BORG from Star Trek. Resistance is futile, be prepared to be assimilated.

Wherever Chabad goes, they show zero respect for the religious institutions of the communities they have relocated to. They aim to displace ancient Jewish customs with their own Chabad “traditions”. The movement is sick and I am disgusted with them. Their movement should be branded as “Chabadanity”, a word that rhymes with “insanity.”

The Torah does not offer protection for those who harm others. Menachem Mendel Schneerson’s words provoked horrible violence against an elderly, frail woman and Menachem Mendel Schneerson’s associates covered for the man who committed that violence. The Torah complains against this type of abuse of power all the time, on almost every page of Nevi’im.
