Part Five of Five : Canadian History … IMPORTANT SECONDARY PORTS and CONCLUSION

Dear Reader,

The following series is a brief overview of Canadian history.  The five articles are part of one continuous document with nothing removed. Some parts are somewhat detailed but are very interesting as one can see why President Trump has his eyes on annexing Canada.

Canada is a very rich country in natural resources from coast to coast. Alberta is the richest province in resource wealth.  In 2026, concerned citizens of Alberta are proposing to separate from Canada as they don’t see eye to eye with the Federal Government on many issues that negatively affect Alberta.

President Trump is not asleep at the switch. He wants Alberta, and all of Canada.  Most people have no idea how long the U.S. has been wanting to take over Canada.  Not even Canadians.  It is not the first.

“The War of 1812 involved the United States and Great Britain, with significant fighting occurring on Canadian territory. The U.S. aimed to expand its territory, particularly into Canada, which was then a British colony.

Yes, during the War of 1812, the United States invaded Canada, which was then a British territory, in an attempt to expand its territory and assert its rights against British interference. However, these invasions were largely unsuccessful and met with strong resistance from British and Indigenous forces. Smithsonian Institution Wikipedia

At that time, Canada was only in the far east and the far west, the central west was developed later. Alberta became a province in 1905.

Breaking: Canada’s Armed Forces Have “Modelled” A Possible U.S. Military Invasion

According to the Global and Mail and London’s Independent: “The Canadian Armed Forces have modelled a hypothetical U.S. military invasion of Canada and the country’s potential response”

“It is believed to be the first time in a century that the Canadian Armed Forces have created a model of an American assault on this country, a founding member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and a partner with the U.S. in continental air defence. … A military model is a conceptual and theoretical framework, not a military plan, which is an actionable and step-by-step directive for executing operations”.

… Conscription has been ruled out for now, but the level of sacrifice that would be asked of Canadians remains a central topic, the officials said. General Jennie Carignan, Chief of the Defence Staff, has already announced her intention to create a 400,000-plus-strong reserve force of volunteers. The officials said they could be armed or asked to provide disruptions if the U.S. becomes an occupying power.

A senior Defence Department official said Canada would have a maximum of three months to prepare for a land and sea invasion. The first indications that invasion orders had been sent would be expected to come from U.S. military warnings that Canada no longer has a shared skies policy with the United States, the source said.”

Retired major-general David Fraser, “said it is unthinkable that Canadian planners have had to draw up a U.S. invasion scenario. Whatever Mr. Trump does with Greenland and possibly Mexico would weigh into any Canadian scenario, he said.

Introduction

January 20, 2025. The Inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States.

As “Leader of the Free World”, A ADonald Trump’s twisted narrative was for Canada to join “MAGmerica” and for Justin to be nominated  as Governor of  the 51st state.

It started as a joke at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, which unfolded into bitter laughter.

There are historical precedents which are the object of this article.

Both Donald Trump’s statement as well as the response by the Prime Minister of Canada border on ridicule.

PM Justin Trudeau’s failure to respond in his capacity as Canada’s  “head of government” was  marked by ignorance regarding  the history of Canada-U.S. relations in the so-called interwar period, namely a plan to  invade Canada entitled War Plan Red, which  has been excluded from Canadian history books.

Another important period in our history pertains to the militarization of North America under US Northern Command. (USNorthCom) which was announced bySecretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in 2002. (addressed in a separate article).

The issue of Annexation as well as the plan to invade Canada (War Plan Red) has been on the drawing board of the U.S. War Department since the end of the First World War.
